10,037 home sales have closed as of December 6th in the Des Moines Area Association of REALTORS MLS in 2013.
The last time Des Moines real estate sales topped 10,000 was in 2007 when 10,236 homes sold.
In 2006, 11,185 homes sold. It is unlikely that we will surpass that number this year.
